Volunteer Work: I started Caring Crafts to show seniors in nursing homes how much they are loved and not forgotten. I choose a craft and put together a kit for seniors to make the craft, or I make the crafts and deliver them to nursing homes. Before COVID, I would visit my great grandfather every week and play games, color pictures, make crafts, or just push him around in his wheelchair. When COVID came, I was unable to visit him in person, but I was still determined to put a smile on his face. I started making cards for him and his friends and crafts for them to make. With this action, my idea became my platform and Caring Crafts was created. Thankfully, we were able to bring my great grandfather home. I can now make crafts with him in person, but I want to make sure I reach other seniors, who may not have families. I want them to know they are loved. I love making people smile, especially seniors; one craft at a time. Other organizations I love to volunteer with is Crayon Initiative and Ronald McDonald House.

Favorite thing about RIM: My favorite thing about RIM was that I had the opportunity to proudly represent South Africa on stage, and build a sisterhood with my sister queens that will last a lifetime. One of the most special moments throughout RIM was just before and after I won Role model. My sister queen (Makenzie Lehman) was empowering me with words of wisdom and encouragement when it was just the two of us when they were announcing the winner. Just after I won my crown was to big for me and Makenzie stepped in and helped me fix it every time my crown fell down. That sisterhood I built there is one that will never forget.
