Sick children are very close to my heart and it is with much love and care that I visit local hospitals on a regular basis to spread message cards of hope. I am very fond of babies and small children and helping at the Tshwane Haven Children’s home has been a great blessing to me. I can not turn a blind eye towards my fellow grade 12 schoolmates in need – I have gifted the boys and girls with a cash donation to make sure that the pupils will look and feel spectacular on their prom night. I have also been privileged enough to make a difference for the Loerie Youth Centre – an orphanage for abused and neglected children for the past 10 years. Volunteer Work: I primarily volunteer as a guest chef for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Once a month I plan a dinner menu and gather a group of volunteers to cook for 50-60 guests who are staying at their home away from home. It’s my favorite way to feed my community while being a extra emotional support for the parents caring for their children.
